If you’re here to find out more about the Lucknow girl and the viral video depicting her best utilization of feminist laws in India, you’ve visited the right page. The recent incident in India’s Lucknow city is dreadful in its own way. A pure example of how some women could take advantage of laws that are meant to protect their freedom in our society.

Unfortunately, such acts spark a feeling of distrust which eventually impacts the real incidents of innocent women falling prey to the injustice. Women’s rights are meant to protect their freedom and not to exploit the basic agenda of its implementation.

Providing equal rights is meant to develop an environment that guarantees everybody’s rights regardless of their caste, religion, skin shade, nationality, physical shape, sexual orientation, and in this case, “the gender.” It’s horrific to live in a society where one individual has to live life in fear that somebody someday might ruin it all.

This is what happened to a cab driver named Shahadat Ali who hails from the city of ‘Adab’ (respect), Lucknow. Ali has been a victim of ‘Harmful Feminism,’ yes we used this term because it indirectly impacts the good image of femininity.

Throughout the video, Ali did not retaliate against the vicious woman. This is not just news but it’s a social blog and through this, we seek nothing but justice.

The Lucknow Girl Viral Video

An example of how someone makes a pure mockery of “women’s rights in India.”

CCTV footage shows the other side of the story, in this video, it can be seen how this woman is crossing the road when all the vehicles are moving. When she almost reached the other side of the road, the cab driver stopped his car, right on time.

Our Take On The Matter

The entire thing could’ve been avoided with an apology, but the woman chose not to stay silent and created a nuisance of a ‘no big deal’ matter. The Lucknow girl can be seen throwing numerous slaps and hits at the cab driver and the state police personnel stood as a mere spectator. By the end of the video, it can be seen that a man intervened, trying to calm the chaos. However, the woman instead of backing off shifted the anger to the man who tried to stop her, slapping him multiple times. She didn’t stop here and snatched and smashed the poor man’s mobile phone on the road. Nobody could do anything to stop this woman on fire (for no reason). Many on social media are demanding her arrest, and we don’t see any reasons to oppose their demand. We believe that equality must appear at all levels and not just when it’s favorable.

What Happened Afterwards

The Lucknow police instead of filing a complaint against the culprit ‘Lucknow Girl’ had put charges on the cab driver. An FIR under the IPC section 151 (indicates an act of disturbing public peace) was filed against the cab driver, Mr. Shahadat Ali. The police also detained Ali and charged a ‘challan’ (penalty) on him and his brother (who wasn’t even present at the incident). Ali’s brother Inayat had come to rescue his brother from the police station. However, after an augmented pressure by social media to arrest the woman, the police had to file another FIR under IPC 151 & 394 against the Lucknow girl.

How Social Media Responded To Lucknow Girl

Not just men, but women as well actively took participation in projecting disquiet against the woman’s insanity.

Seriously, there’s something wrong with such people and as a society, we all must unite to oppose such odious acts of insanity. If you feel that this article has shed some light on the whole incident, be our regular guest and don’t miss to check out our other informative blogs at vrikah.

  1. What was she doing, standing in the middle of the road, in front of oncoming traffic! She is fortunate that the cab driver did not crush her under his wheels. He stopped on a dime, a very good driver.

This is an extremely unattractive woman. I live in the USA, in Arizona. She looks like a skinny old cowboy in those jeans. Very annoying eyeglasses too. That poor driver, everyone grabbing his shirt and pushing him around! Lucknow Girl should have thanked him for his excellent reflexes because he didn’t mow her down with his vehicle. What an ingrate! I am sad that the taxicab driver and his brother were persecuted by police. I saw the whole thing on Twitter just now. Is she wealthy and entitled? I saw her cursing, wearing all her fancy cosmetics. If she is from a good family, they shouldn’t let her wander the roads at night, harassing innocent people. I hope the taxicab driver is treated fairly by the justice system, once the situation is clear to all (given the video footage).
